Leas bungalow was great! This is the experience of Tanna village lifestyle. Yes, you will be sleeping in a small bungalow and using a bucket shower and there is no electricity... bit you will be surrounded by amazing jungle, beaches to swim and snorkel at, and awesome local people who live from the land. The food is fresh and healthy and the kava super strong. If you want the real Vanuatu experience this is the place to be!

Ireupuow is a Village on Tanna in Vanuatu. Vanuatu is a South Pacific Ocean nation made up of roughly 80 islands that stretch 1,300 kilometers. The islands offer scuba diving at coral reefs, underwater caverns and wrecks such as the WWII-era troopship SS President Coolidge. Harborside Port Vila, the nation’s capital and economic center, is on the island of Efate. The city is home to the Vanuatu National Museum, which explores the nation’s Melanesian culture. The island of Espiritu Santo has sites related to its history as a WWII base and Champagne Beach, famous for its white sand and bubbling waters. Tanna Island has the active Mount Yasur volcano, with hiking trails and many traditional villages. Pentecost Island is known for its land-diving ritual, in which men leap off wooden towers with vines wrapped around their ankles. Other popular activities include rainforest ecotours, kayaking and deep-sea fishing, plus relaxing at resorts and spas.
